Dismantling and reassembling the 1/6 vinyl FIREBALL SG.
I used a hair dryer to soften the vinyl, then was able to separate the sections and cut the joints apart.
Aves Apoxie sculpt was used to fill in the hollow sections of the arms and legs. Then 14 gauge electrical wire was used to space the joints apart and will allow me to give it a more dynamic "action" pose.

I painted a Großer Hund for the Weathering Magazine back in September for last year. The issue has finally come out and I made the cover. Available in both digital and printed versions.

This was intended as a prototype for a custom resin toy, but I honestly don't have time to paint multiples, so its a one off 3D print from a makerbot replicator. I like to think its 1/35 scale. Influenced (of course) by Claus Oldenburg.

What started as a drunken joke turned out to be one of my favorite builds, combining a 3D printed human skull from a makerbot replicator and the legs of a Maschinen Krieger Krote (1/20 scale)

1/20 Maschinen Krieger "Pigeon" by Rainbow egg.
I was lucky enough to see Yokoyama-sans version of the "manned prototype scout flyer" in Tokyo last November. And then I was lucky enough to get a resin version of it around Wonderfest (winter 2014) to build and paint. No one makes garage kits like rainbow egg. Its alway a treat to work with
